The dial is absolutley gorgeous. It looks better in person. The case and bracelet are nicely finished. It’s a bigger watch but the case design makes it wear comfortably even on smaller wrists. The bezel action is great, no play whatsoever. The crown operates smoothly, in fact, it feels better than any other watch in my collection. The movement has been very reliable so far. I wore it almost three weeks in a row without adjusting the time and it still functions well within specifications.
I have heard comments regarding the sharpness on the endges of the bracelet and clasp. I don’t feel this is a problem. if you wear the watch it will break in nicely. I even used a brillo pad to gently smooth them out. It worked great and did not effect the brushing in any way.
The clasp did seem a little stiff at first but now it feels great. Again, you just have to wear the watch.
I can’t find fault with the watch. This is my first SM. I had high expectations considering their reputation, but I was surprised at just how good it is.

I am a watch nerd, and hard to please. I have owned this watch with the mother of pearl dial for more than six months, and it is one of the best watches I’ve ever put on my wrist. The casework is flawless and feels both unbreakable and classy. The bezel insert is a lovely not-too-glossy ceramic. The lume pip is perfectly positioned. The teeth on the bezel are beautifully machined. The bezel movement is good (with a little more tension around 4/5pm but nothing bothersome). The dial is mesmerizing. The markers are perfect. The hands are well sized and without rough edges. The second hand is nice with its counterbalance lollipop, and covered pinion. The sapphire crystal is perfect, and I think the cyclops is sapphire too. It has strong magnification, which is usually thought of as a positive (personally I’m on the fence). The AR coating is effective. The bracelet is very, very high quality – as good as, if not better than, my high-end swiss watches. The clasp is great. It’s really hard to take this watch off. Don’t hesitate. Buy one. Thank me later.
